This article examines certain aspects of implementing secular principles in the healthcare sector of New Uzbekistan. The Constitution and legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan firmly enshrine such values as freedom of conscience, the separation of religion and the state, and the promotion of interfaith harmony within society. The Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. LRU-1037, adopted in 2025 and entitled "On the approval of the concept for ensuring freedom of conscience of citizens and state policy in the religious sphere in the republic of Uzbekistan" constitutes an important strategic document that defines the legal, administrative, and ethical mechanisms for the consistent implementation of these principles. Chapter 6 of this concept is entirely devoted to the priority directions for the development of a secular state, while Paragraph 4 specifically emphasizes the implementation of secular principles in the healthcare sector. On this basis, the issue of strengthening secularism within the healthcare system is emerging as an extremely relevant matter not only from a legal perspective, but also from ethical, scientific, and cultural standpoints.
