This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the historical, political, and cultural relations between Turan (Central Asia) and Anatolia (Asia Minor) during the periods of the Umayyad and Abbasid Caliphates. In particular, it explores the political processes that emerged in the early centuries of Islamic history — from the 7th to the 9th centuries — focusing on the expansion of the caliphate and the interactions established between its various provinces, especially between the eastern (Turan) and western (Anatolia) regions. These relationships are primarily manifested in military operations, the advancement of science, religious outreach efforts, and the management system. Special attention is paid to the activities and roles of individuals from Turan who were active in Anatolia. Among these individuals are military leaders, scholars, advocates, and other culturally active persons, whose contributions to the socio-political processes in this region are illustrated with specific examples. Their influence was not limited to military affairs but extended to the formation of local administrative structures, the spread of Islamic knowledge, and the development of Muslim communities. The research employs methods such as description, generalization, comparison, periodization, and microhistorical analysis. Based on historical sources, classical Arabic and Persian literature, as well as modern research, the article offers new perspectives and scholarly conclusions on a subject that has been insufficiently studied.
