ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
The article highlights issues of developing special clothing for military personnel serving in the extremely cold region of Uzbekistan. With the aim of expanding the range of local products based on the “Green Economy” model and creating opportunities for processing defective materials, a non-woven “woolpon” material made from a blend of damaged rabbit fur and polyester was recommended for the winter special clothing set. To improve the heat-insulating properties of the special clothing, the weight, thickness, and heat-insulating properties of various non-woven materials such as synthepon, holofiber, woolpon (blend of camel wool, blend of sheep wool), and the proposed sherstipon non-woven material made from a blend of rabbit fur were analyzed. It was found that the non-woven material made from a blend of rabbit fur and polyester possesses high heat-insulating properties. When developing the design of winter special clothing, methodologies proposed by Muller & Sohn, CRISI (Central Research Institute of Sewing Industry), CMEA (Council for Mutual Economic Assistance), M.I. Smirnov, and I.Ya. Aldrich were analyzed. Based on the theoretical foundations for determining additions to the material package proposed by Koblyakova, the parameters for the special clothing design corresponding to the proposed material package were recommended. The practical results obtained were scientifically substantiated through statistical processing.
