This article examines the effective use of agricultural lands based on international experience and highlights its importance for ensuring food security and socioeconomic development in rural areas. A comparative analysis was conducted on the land management policies of Russia, Brazil, Japan, and India, focusing on land protection, the reintegration of abandoned farmlands, land reclamation, land ownership regulations, subsidies, and credit mechanisms. The study employed comparative analysis, statistical data processing, content analysis, and empirical generalization methods. Based on the international experience, an integrated model for the effective use of agricultural lands adapted to the conditions of Uzbekistan was developed. Scientifically grounded recommendations were proposed for improving land inventory processes, enhancing reclamation measures, developing rural infrastructure, and refining land ownership mechanisms.
