Keeping rabbits in modern cages

This article focuses on rabbit breeding, which is of great importance in the intensive supply of meat, leather and high-quality wool products. The article contains basic information on how to care for rabbits in a modern rabbitry, how to choose rabbit cages by breed, and the cage sizes of rabbit cages by age. In addition, information is provided on the reaction of rabbits to internal and external temperatures when kept in different cages, the influence of environmental factors on their adaptation, the correct maintenance of microclimate indicators in the rabbitry, the adaptation of rabbit breeds imported from abroad to warm climatic conditions, and the zoohygienic assessment of cages for various species. The results of scientific research conducted in our republic on the development of this industry are also presented.
