ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
The main objective of this article is to analyze the theoretical foundations of the 15-minute city concept and to determine its significance in contemporary urban planning. To achieve this objective, the formation processes and implementation mechanisms of the model were examined based on international scientific sources and practical experience. The research object includes 15-minute city approaches applied in cities of various countries. Using qualitative and comparative analysis methods, the impact of the model on urban mobility, transport systems, and spatial planning was assessed. The results indicate that the concept contributes to reducing car dependency, enhancing environmental sustainability, and fostering the development of local communities. In addition, the study highlights the applicability of the concept in the context of Uzbekistan and emphasizes the importance of integrated transport policy as a key factor in achieving sustainable urban development.
