The article analyzes the connection between oral traditions and other traditional patterns in the intangible cultural heritage of the Uzbek people. The author shows the influence of oral creativity on the development of folklore, mythology, and art forms (literature, theater, cinema). It also discusses the preservation of national values and countering the influence of mass culture in modern society.
