The article is devoted to the study of dance therapy as an effective method of psycho-emotional and physical recovery through movement. The theoretical basis of dance therapy, its influence on mental health, and its role in the treatment of various diseases such as depression, anxiety disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder are discussed. The author concludes that dance therapy is a promising and multifaceted tool in the field of medicine and psychotherapy, but its effectiveness depends on the individual characteristics of the patient.
