The Impact of Liberal Ideology on Society in the Context of Globalization and Legal-Democratic Reforms

The main purpose of the article is to determine the role and significance of the national ideology in modern Uzbek society, to analyze its main functions, and to study the social and philosophical changes and transformations it has undergone. It explores the role of national ideology in Uzbekistan’s contemporary socio-political and cultural context, its contribution to national identity awareness, ensuring social stability, youth education, and the formation of spiritual and ideological immunity. Moreover, the research focuses on reinterpreting national ideology in the context of globalization, information attacks, and modern challenges, adapting it to new social conditions, and identifying pathways for its future development. The study employs scientific methods such as analysis and synthesis, a comprehensive approach, a system-functional approach, content analysis, retrospective analysis, dialectics, synergy, and comparative analysis. The practical results include: The theoretical substantiation of the ideological essence of “socio-political reforms” through the categories of “specificity” and “universality” in philosophy; Identification of the compromise-based, democratic tendencies and objective and subjective factors of ideological transformation, which are key components of socio-liberal changes in society; Methodological proposals and recommendations for improving the institutional management system; Systematization of methodological issues in the integration of liberal and conservative ideologies based on a systematic approach, as well as revealing their national and regional features. The article provides scientific conclusions on improving the theoretical-methodological and educational-methodological activities of organizations responsible for the spiritual, ideological, and socio-cultural spheres of the Uzbek people’s national ideology. It also examines the social significance of liberal ideology under the conditions of global changes, its adaptability to societal challenges, the manifestation of liberal ideology in Uzbekistan’s legal-democratic reforms, and its aspiration to promote the principles of democracy, human rights, rule of law, and governance.
