This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of the 'Bukhara Mavrigis', created in Bukhara under the name 'mavrigi' with roots dating back to the 17th-18th centuries, within the context of ancient Bukhara musical culture. It also analyzes the practical processes related to the performance of a number of works from the Bukhara folk musical heritage (bahri tavil, mayda ghazal, etc.), which are not included in the 'mavrigi' category in written sources but are still performed in the mavrigi style, from the perspective of art history.
