Today, in the digital educational environment, forming electronic resource collections in academic libraries is of great importance. These collections not only provide comprehensive scientific information but also support interactive and distance learning processes. There are several key criteria for selecting databases when developing electronic resource collections in academic libraries. These criteria include evaluating the content and coverage of the database to ensure alignment with academic programs and research needs, as well as assessing its coverage of general and specialized disciplines. Several research methods were studied and analyzed to conduct this study. To ensure broad accessibility and convenience for respondents, the online survey method was chosen as the primary research tool. Based on the findings, recommendations were developed.
