This article analyzes the methodological and methodological foundations of organizing pedagogical research in general education schools based on a systematic approach. In the course of the study, modern scientific literature in the field of pedagogy, international scientific research, and regulatory legal acts governing the education system were studied on the basis of comparative and critical analysis. As a result, the specific features, advantages and practical possibilities of existing scientific approaches to the organization of pedagogical research were identified. As a result of the research, a methodological algorithm has been developed that covers the stages of planning, implementing pedagogical research in general education schools, analyzing the results obtained, and their effective implementation into educational practice.
