This article analyzes the impact of modern biotechnological progress on the system of bioethical values from a socio-philosophical perspective. It is based on the fact that the rapid development of biotechnology is creating new ethical problems related to human life, health, biological nature, heredity, ecological balance, and the interests of future generations. Human dignity, respect for life, personal autonomy, justice, scientific responsibility, safety, social control, and responsibility to future generations have been studied as key bioethical criteria for evaluating biotechnological progress.
